Over 2,900 singles entered the UK charts between January 2010 and December 2015. The GLEE Cast were responsible for a staggering 93 of them.

UK chart hits 2005-2009

Over 3,100 singles entered the UK charts between January 2005 and December 2009. Rihanna ruled the roost with 15 chart appearances over this time.

UK chart hits 2000-2004

Over 4,200 singles entered the UK charts between January 2000 and December 2004. As both Diddy and Puff Daddy the Bad Boy mogul Sean Combs appeared on 14 of them.

UK chart hits 1995-1999

Over 5,000 singles entered the UK charts between January 1995 and December 1999. Including the movie tie-in 'My Heart Will Go On' from Titanic, Celine Dion sang 15 of them.

UK chart hits 1990-1994

Over 4,500 singles entered the UK charts between January 1990 and December 1994. Indie darlings The Wedding Present released a single each month throughout 1992 giving them a total of 16 hits in the early 90s.

UK chart hits 1985-1989

Over 3,100 singles entered the UK charts between January 1985 and December 1989. Madonna closed the decade out as queen of the charts racking up 20 hits in just over half that time.

UK chart hits 1980-1984

Over 2,800 singles entered the UK charts between January 1980 and December 1984. New pop sensation Adam Ant, with and without additional Ants, amassed a total of 18 hits including three chart-toppers.

Over 1,950 singles entered the UK charts between January 1975 and December 1979. Disco domina Donna Summer's string of stunning singles such as 'I Feel Love' gave her 17 hits.

UK chart hits 1970-1974

Over 1,220 singles entered the UK charts between January 1970 and December 1974. Diana Ross rose to the top sharing 10 hits with the other Supremes and scoring 14 more solo.

UK chart hits 1965-1969

Over 1,370 singles entered the UK charts between January 1965 and December 1969. Welsh wonder Tom Jones enjoyed 17 hits, more than any other act in the late 60s.

UK chart hits 1960-1964

Over 1,400 singles entered the UK charts between January 1960 and December 1964. The Shadows charted 36 times during this period including 24 releases alongside one Cliff Richard.

UK chart hits 1952-1959

Over 1,000 singles entered the UK charts between November 1952 and December 1959. In the chart's formative era Elvis Presley soon reigned supreme bombarding fans with 28 hits in just three years.
